She would never do that. Hokkaido is great, though. If you ever get the chance to visit
Japan and you happen to enjoy nature,
Hokkaido may be a good place to go to.
Of course you won't be able to hunt bears, but Sapporo for example offers skiing.
They have good beer, although Japan has good alcohol overall, and Jingisukan is great!
Less known, Hokkaido is land of a Japanese
indiginous population, the Ainu.
They have distinct culture, but unfortunately have been widely underrepesented and
forced
assimilation for centuries have caused a loss of it; for example, the Ainu language is
basically lost. Please read up on the Ainu :)
